2026–2027 FAFSA Form Now Available

2026-2027 FAFSA is live. Included below is information to share with students and parents. In addition, please reference the newsletter shared with you last week that includes FAFSA information.
2026–27 FAFSA Form Now Available
The 2026–27 Free Application for Federal Student Aid(FAFSA®) formLinks to an external site. is now available to everyone. Students can complete the form to apply for financial aid for attendance at college or career school between July 1, 2026, and June 30, 2027.
If your students successfully submitted their FAFSA form during the beta testing period, they don't need to resubmit it.
FAFSA forms submitted online will typically be processed in one to three days. Once the form is processed, students will be able to review their FAFSA Submission Summary, and their FAFSA information will be made available to their selected schools.
Students also can make updates or correctionsLinks to an external site. (such as adding a school or a missing signature) to their FAFSA form.
Tips for Students Preparing To Fill Out the FAFSA®Form
Students should do the following to prepare for filling out the FAFSA form:
- Create a StudentAid.gov accountLinks to an external site. (if they don't already have one).
- Have their documents ready (e.g., 2024 tax returns; records of child support received; current balances of cash, savings, and checking accounts; and net worth of investments, businesses, and farms).
- Use the Who's My FAFSA Parent? wizardLinks to an external site. to identify which parent(s) will be a required contributor on their FAFSA form.

The sitting fee is due the day of the photography. Credit cards, cash, or check are accepted.
Tux/Drape attire will be available.
Bring a strapless tank top for the drape picture or a clean white t-shirt for the tux
picture.
