Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) will host its annual Marching Band Exhibition on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at Tara Stadium! The event will begin at 6:00 p.m., featuring performances from nine CCPS high schools with HBCU-style Marching Band Programs and the Valdosta High School Marching Band as a guest band.
The Exhibition provides an atmosphere for Clayton County and the Music Education Community to enjoy and celebrate the collective talents of our students as they have worked so hard to achieve mastery in their musical and visual presentations. In addition, the district will also host the Tennessee State University Aristocrat of Bands as the event’s special guest Collegiate Band.
As part of the event, each band will receive constructive feedback from a 6-person adjudication panel consisting of four highly respected middle and high school directors, a percussion expert, and an auxiliary expert.
