Parents/Students - please click on the links below for important information regarding the upcoming distribution of chromebooks to ALL Mt. Zion High School students. If you received a loaner device in the last 2 weeks, it will have to be returned to MZHS prior to receiving your new Chromebook.

**PARENT & STUDENT REQUIREMENT** - ELBC User Agreement Form must be collected from each student at the time of distribution in order to receive a Chromebook and accessories.  The school must make blank copies available of English and translated forms on distribution days.

Please Note: This is a different form than the one used for the temporary loaner device that was distributed at the start of the school year.  The ELBC User Agreement Form linked to this message is required from all students for Chromebook distribution.

As Clayton County Public Schools continues to monitor the COVID-19 cases and all data regarding the pandemic, the Clayton County Board of Education has approved to start the 2020-2021 School Year utilizing the Virtual Instructional Model (Instructional Model Option B) as outlined in the 2020-2021 Reopening Resource Guide ( In addition, the Board has also approved the adjustment of the 2020-2021 academic calendar which pushes the start of the school year to August 10 for students, to allow teachers and staff an additional five days for preparation. Please note, the employee workday calendar will remain the same. The changes were approved based on recommendations from the Superintendent/CEO of Schools, Dr. Morcease J. Beasley. Parents/Guardians/Caregivers - thank you for your interest in the Clayton County Public Schools Virtual Learning Academy. Please access the Infinite Campus Parent Portal and complete the Virtual Learning Academy Parent Interest Application. Be sure to complete the form in its entirety. The application process begins Sunday, July 5, 2020 and will close Sunday, July 12, 2020 at 11:59 p.m.  Parents will be notified of their child’s acceptance status by July 28, 2020.

Students shall not bring the following weapons at any time: knives, mace (protective spray device), tasers, incendiary devices, guns (including a starter gun, look alike weapons or any object appearing to be a gun), and explosives.
