6th Annual PBIS Verzuz Battle

 

THE  CCPS  6th ANNUAL PBIS ‘5’ DISTRICT NORMS VERZUS BATTLE 

The Division of School Leadership & Strategic Improvement ’s Department of Student Discipline, Prevention and Intervention is hosting the 6th Annual CCPS PBIS ‘5’ District Norms Verzus Battle. The overarching goal is to promote PBIS implementation and the District’s Five Behavior Norms (Weapons free, Violence free, Bully free, Drug free, Gang free) in support of the Superintendent’s number one Priority:  Cultivate A School Safety Culture & Promote A Positive Working Environment

All Clayton County Public Schools are expected to participate and submit 3-minute pre-recorded video performance(s).

 

Each school may submit one pre-recorded performance (not more than three minutes) in one category only.  The performance must incorporate the respective school’s Behavior Expectations/Behavior Matrix and/or one of the ‘5’ District Behavior Norms. The video performance on any of the District Norms should include the solution(s) and the District’s available Resources to support the Behavior Norm:

o   Rap

o   Song

o   Spoken Word/Poem

 

The Committee of Judges (DPI and PBIS DLT) will review the pre-recorded performance submissions for appropriateness and creativity, and choose the finalists from each level that meet the criteria: Elementary, Middle and High School.  

 

The pre-recorded video performances of the finalists will be aired on the CCPS Facebook Page for public votes through a Google Survey Link, over a period of 3 evenings. The Elementary School video performances will be aired and voted/judged on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, beginning at 6:00 pm, while the  Middle and  High Schools’ video submissions will be aired and voted/judged on Wednesday, March 18, 20256 from 6pm.

The Verzus Battle Results will be aired on Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 5:00 pm.

 

The winners and runners-up will receive Trophies and other prizes.

All submissions from the School Leaders or Designees are due March 06, 2026.
